The Free Fall Trilogy

Our dream is bigger than one film.

Free Fall was never only a love story. It was the beginning of something that, for years, never truly left us.

So what is Free Fall now?

Free Fall is no longer only the film people discovered in 2013. It is becoming a new cinematic journey — beginning again with Free Fall: Who You Are, a version that is RECUT. REIMAGINED. REBORN. Not to erase what came before, but to open the story for what comes next.

Why does it continue?

Because one question has never disappeared: What happens after the fall?

We are all born in between. Between expectation and desire. Between who we are… and who we think we should be. We grow up trying to fit, trying to be loved, trying not to lose what feels safe. And at some point, we all fall. Not because we fail — but because we begin to live honestly.

Usually the story ends with the coming out. We want to show what happens when honestly lived life begins.

Our goal is clear

We want to bring the Free Fall Trilogy to life.

This new experience is our first step toward restarting Free Fall as a trilogy — a cinematic journey through love, identity, consequence, and truth.

Where is the journey going?

From awakening to aftermath to acceptance. From the first rupture to the search for happiness. From losing control to finding the inner core of who we are.

Free Fall is about love, but also about time. About the courage to lose control. And about the possibility that falling may be the only way to become free.

We know this road will not be easy. There will be challenges. Creative ones. Financial ones. Structural ones. Maybe even impossible-looking ones. But we have a plan. We have built the foundation. And we will give everything to make this trilogy real.

For everyone who has carried Free Fall with them. For everyone who has asked, again and again: what happens next? And for everyone who still believes that some stories deserve another chance.

This is where we begin again.

Not with the end of Free Fall. But with its rebirth.

CHILL

Behind an unmarked Berlin door, the chill has been going for hours. Clothes are optional, inhibitions are gone, and the next hot guy is only a swipe away. A nervous first-timer is dared to let go, two seasoned daddies flirt their way into something unexpectedly real, and a room full of beautiful men can't stop picking themselves apart. CHILL is a sexy, funny and tender dramedy about what happens between the hookups, when desire, loneliness and the need to belong all come out at once.

Q Studios Berlin

Independent Films & Series

Stories that unfold.

Good stories begin when the film ends.

Q Studios Berlin is an independent creative studio.
Based in Berlin. Created for audiences everywhere.

Q Studios Berlin

Q is an independent story company based in Berlin.

We develop and produce films and series that matter to us. Because we recognise the people in them. Because their stories won’t leave us alone. Or because they take us into a world we knew nothing about.

Built for uncompromised storytelling.

Radical artistic freedom, and a direct connection between creators and audiences.

This belief shapes everything we do. Creation is not a side product of life; it is one of its deepest expressions. It is how ideas become images, how emotions become stories, and how stories become part of culture.

Driven by the belief in art without compromise, Q Studios Berlin exists to create cinematic, cultural, and artistic works that are not made to fill space, but to leave a mark.

From a single idea — fold by fold, decision by decision — we develop, finance, produce, and release films, series, and cultural works with the freedom to unfold beyond traditional models.

Art without compromises

Q Studios Berlin stands for artistic freedom without compromise. We create a space where art can emerge freely. Radical, independent and unaltered.

Creator-driven

Q Studios Berlin sees itself as a partner for creators, but above all for the stories that want to be told completely, independently and sustainably.

We know that social change is triggered not in the mass but in the individual. That takes strength, courage and the will of individuals to think differently.

Audience-connected

Telling stories not only for an audience, but with it.

Entering into dialogue and listening, letting the audience help shape the work.

Fold the future.

Our first image for Q was a single sheet of paper. Fold by fold, it becomes something you couldn’t see at the start. Making a film feels like that. Every draft, every performance, every cut changes what it can become. We want to leave room for those discoveries, while keeping hold of what made us begin.

Film and series are at the centre of Q. But a story can take other forms: a piece of music, an artwork, something you wear. We’re interested in those connections, and in working with artists from other fields when there is something worth making together.

We believe art should not be reduced to content. It should move, challenge, seduce, disturb, and remain.

From Berlin, we create internationally minded cinema and cultural works with a timeless signature. Our projects are designed not only to be watched, but to be felt — as films, as series, as cultural statements, and as long-term artistic worlds.

Our releases

One studio, three stories.

Q Manifest

We believe in Q.

Q is not a brand, not a style, not a trend.
Q is a mindset. A decision for depth in a noisy world.

We believe in quality — not as perfection, but as awareness.
In the understanding that every choice carries weight.
In precision as a form of respect for the work.

We seek the source — the beginning, the true impulse before it fades.
We draw from silence, from memory, from the movement between two notes.

We follow the quest — the search, not the destination.
We trust the unfinished, the doubt, the moment when truth briefly flashes.

We are lateral thinkers — not against, but beneath.
We ask questions where others seek answers.
We break forms to find meaning.

We honor the quiet — the power of restraint.
The emptiness where meaning emerges.
The pause that speaks.

We seek the quintessence — what remains when everything unnecessary falls away.
Not more, but truer.

And we believe in the quantum —
that even the smallest gesture carries change.

Q is our compass.
A sign for mindset, depth, authenticity.
An invitation to do less — and mean more.

“Q is the invisible that holds everything together.”

What we believe

Q Statements

We believe stories can change lives.
Not because they are loud.
But because they tell the truth.

We founded Q Studios because we believe cinema deserves to be:
fearless.
personal.
human.
unexpected.

We believe artists should own their stories. Audiences should find films beyond algorithms. And communities should become part of the creative process — not only after a film is finished, but while it is being born.

We believe in bold stories. In stories that stay with you.
In characters who refuse to leave your mind.
In stories that ask difficult questions instead of offering easy answers.

Q Studios is more than a production company.
It is a creative home.
A platform.
A laboratory.
A community.
